I wish I was a dragon; I would let out a roar and spread out my wings as I'd leap into the heavens. I would be the color of the sky so when I'm soaring over all you'll catch is a glimpse of my iridescent glimmer of my scales. Or I'd be asleep in a cool and dark quite deep cave. Since I would be immortal time would have no meaning. I'd shape-shift into a mortal form to walk among the mortal realm. But shift back to my dragon form and soar the heavens. 5/6/2018

Well done, Eve, but would you eat people? I'm laughing. I saw this contest had closed and was most sorry I didn't get a poem in, but I enjoyed yours and wish you all the best in the contest and everything else. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

I have always loved the symbolism associated with this amazing creature from Chinese mythology; and based on this brilliant piece, you would make an incredibly awesome dragon! I am sure this will be high on the winners' list! Best wishes and hugs. Pandita
