loneliness, alone, depressed, sad, waiting, girl, sea

When the clouds are thick and the sky is gray Conceded by pain, from the eye it will flow tears Should have known, but could not find the reality A journey through her soul, you taught her to stand in the storm Consciousness ripples along the back ... quiet and invisible The sea is calm, as death black silk ribbon 31.03.2017 Sun :) - A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

I am moved by the contrasting images on which the poem revolves, Anne-Lise. Dark, black and stormy are not strong enough to squash her resolve! #7 Hugs // paul

Anne-Lise, this is a delicious poem. The picture is perfect accompaniment. Tim is right - what a great line: "you taught her to stand in the storm." I think it's also a very crucial line - this is the positive anchor of the poem, and even as we then consider things quiet and invisible, and "death black silk ribbon" (which, though beautiful, seems sad) we have that sense that things are good.

Really cool Anne-Lise. This comes across as a whisper on a cold breeze, something you hear in the dead of night while all is still. Your poetic voice is haunting in this wonderful piece.
