I borrowed the picture from Andrea Dietrich
The horizon split its emotions in
ember fire, cobalt skies an opening
for the sun to pierce its heaven. To drink
its opulence of the cerulean
sea ebbing to the shores. Where humans walk
the pallid sand, green algae coastal rocks,
through fields of flaming wild orange and red
poppies. It fills its thoughts to gently thread
upon the swells of the shore. To breathe its
scents and walk together. The urge to kiss
the world morphing into the flourished field
with its being, allowing it to yield.
