A delicate and beautful poem. Emotive, filling me with a sense of loneliness.

Jason, I love the sensuality in the second verse, "your sundress reveals my poem...rosemary shoulders." Awesome image. The image of aging and unattainable beauty "locks your brightness away" is incredible as well. LOVE this one! Carolyn

This is beautiful, has such a soft tenderness that really draws you in. I love the phrasing, particularly these parts: "whispers of rain across your cheek" and "mirrors lie to the one who seeks identity" - I especially like that one, so true. The feelings come across well, and the "locket welded shut" gives it such a finality. You penned this wonderfully.
