-surreal-

One Word #5 Word: Surreal Surreal, adjective, marked by the intense irrational reality of a dream In a flash of lightning, and a boom of thunder, Life passes right by in a blur of colour and sound. It’s odd how quickly the days seem to pass, Until you realize that there’s no one around. In a brush stroke, and a drop of water, Life could simply be someone controlling you. I wonder just who is writing my story, And in the future, what will you make me do? In a bark of words, and a splash of blood, You realize that you’re just a lonely as then. Clearly humans are just expendable dolls for you, So you make me realize just how alone I’ve been. In a sweet tune, and the patter of rain, You find someone who is just as lonely. You must be joking with me, there is simply no way, For I will hurt them as well, it can’t be. In a stream of code, the hum of a digital song, Life truly is nothing more than a simulated game. I’m lonely, you’re lonely, who is good at this? Because at the end, we realize we’re just the same. In a skipped heartbeat, and in a second, Time and a possibility have already passed you by. I might as well close my eyes now and keep them shut, Because I’ve already missed so much. I’ll let out a sigh. In a whiff of smoke, and a raspy voice, You realize that they’ve always been there. Whether reality is simply a joke made by you, I’ve decided to worry about it another day. I simply don’t care. In a kaleidoscope of love, and a monochromatic world of depression, You realize that humans are simply incomplete. Some are good, some are bad, some are both, But truly laughable is that we are also extreme. In a flash of lightning, and a boom of thunder, The sensation of being alive passes right by in a blur of colour and sound. “It’s so cold…” It’s odd how quickly those words pass by, Until you realize that there’s no one around.
