-dragon-
Daily Poetry #55, March 24, 2017
Word: Dragon
Breath
your flames,
ugly beast,
for I will stand.
Words will always do
more damage than your flames.
You’re simply misunderstood,
a beast whom no one will approach.
We are truly alike, aren’t we?
Two beasts that no humans will ever love.
So let me sit by you and spin a tale,
even if your ears cannot hear and
your mouth cannot respond to me.
Of kingdoms and tragedies,
which were caused by this beast.
You are innocent,
dragon, for
the guilty
one is
me.
