Anne-Lise, interesting to think of a past friend as a passing breeze. It does happen that people drift away, and this is a way to visualize it. Deriving solace after a loss is not easy and the combination of image and poem makes that quite clear. There is always some sadness after a real loss of any kind.

As well as the ones in process of making, we are our past memories -- like yourself, I choose to recall mostly the good. Bad owns our hearts as well. We are human. Blessings my friend.
