Tea Time Poetry Contest

3nd place in the contest

When violet flames burn on dried leaves Sweetness fills my throat Whispers of longing felicity with satisfaction Conch shells in harmony fragrant luxury Satemwa dark tea what a rich flavor with hints of cocoa, vanilla and licorice root It was a winter after noon I truly needed a cup of tea

This is such an uplifting and soulful write dear anne lise! And I absolutely love the picture you’ve used here too , which goes so well with the poem. I love tea, and as maldivians we have our tea time: lately i prefer jasmine rose and mint tea, so soothing. But this sounds like a delicious flavor tok that you’ve described in such eloquence: pleasure always reading your work. Sending you light

I heard winter is pretty bad in your realm, any hot drink will sooth and keep you warm.

I must admit it's a tea I'm not familiar with Anne-Lise, but it sounds delicious, perfect to drink on a cold day. Good luck in the contest and enjoy your weekend. Tom
