Rivers flow as the Milky Way Broken clouds, the rain pouring down from skies Stop protecting your opinions Occasionally we are punished for something we have never done Obvious discrimination without a filter nothing is excluded Wandering through many hundreds of hymns as tides that sweep through pulsating veins The wise person does not associate with liars Disappointments will perhaps diminish over time obviously an ignorant inference No one dreams, if the eye never sleeps The depth of the feeling continued in the rainy weather

A deep poem studded with great imagery. So true we get blamed unjustly. Hugs.

This profound verse captivates the reader's mind with its potent imagery and profound insights, Anne-Lise. Its impactful lines reverberate within me, particularly the notion that at times, we face unwarranted repercussions for deeds never committed. It astutely sheds light on the blatant discrimination that pervades our society, sparing no one from its unjust effects.

a deep poem filled with powerful imagery and wisdom. These words resonated with me: Occasionally we are punished for something we have never done Obvious discrimination without a filter nothing is excluded I've lived that so I guess that's why they resonated with me...that feeling still remains...Enjoyed the read, hugs, Sara

Anne-Lise, there's not much worse than subjection to ignorance and discrimination. When you say, "stop protecting your opinions," I am thinking that it is the offending party who cannot open up to their error in thinking. We see that more and more today unfortunately. I hope you are well and appreciate that you wrote about this. There's a lot of reflection that should occur before we act. TY!!
