The water lily mirror is her window which she shares with frogs In the woods, where wild flowers and herbs grow She greets the sun at dawn washing his golden locks in the morning dew Few have seen her, but many had heard about her The sound of willow whistle her song in an unfamiliar language - the same song every night as a ritual perhaps component of a ceremony During the day she remains silent Her woven wings in ethereal beauty supernatural flies with the wind Nature provides us with answers if we listen, look and believe

"Nature provides us with answers, if we listen, look and believe" Indeed.. Only if we are willing to breathe in the moment, listen to the echoes and believe.. This poem is such a captivating dimension with beautiful word choices "washing his golden locks in the morning dew", "water lily mirror", " Willow whistle" Wow! "She greets the sun at dawn washing his golden locks in the morning dew" -- Superb imagery. The entire poem is beautiful. Not too fantastical for me, for I have seen fairies and angels, have sat with mystical guardians (a spectator only) and believe in their eternal purpose more than the seasonal, time-stamped, so called real around me. k4u
