Corinthians? ?10:3?-?4? ?NIV??
[3] For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. [4] The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

So many lost from tragedies of war
Satan out to kill, steal and destroy
Flipped around as if ones are fighting for God
If one wants to fight for God
Call upon His promised spirit to resurrect new life
Then the true battle of crucifying old self
That can't be done in own works will ignite
Allow God to mold one unto what defeats the true enemy
For no weapon created by hands of man
Has authority to release one from bondage
The battle will remain even till it's only oneself
Unless one seeks the guidance of God
That has authority to release from captivity
Away with stronghold dominions leading to death
Which will begin to reveal the true depth of war
We all have this unseen battle
To decide which God we choose to serve
Either on the battle field are in the comfort of home
To receive new love for ones you were taught to hate
Are continue to hate and lead your own fate
In hope one might receive this new love and peace
Observing this is a beautiful day the Lord has made
This world is out to destroy the presence of God
This can be seen so clearly once snatched out of it
Just praying one day others see this endless cycle
Of destruction out to destroy humanity
God has sent One to die for us
That we might put off the old self
To see our struggle is not against flesh
For flesh accounts for nothing
While the Spirit brings forth Life
Corruption is everywhere to keep ones in confusion
Even down to religion in the Lord's temples
Until one recognizes they are the temple
God's presence wants to dwell within
May all continue to pray in knowing what
All have been given access to become
A family united in the presence of God

??Ephesians? ?6:12? ?NIV??
[12] For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

"God has sent One to die for us That we might put off the old self To see our struggle is not against flesh For flesh accounts for nothing While the Spirit brings forth Life". We are continuously waging a war. It is not against worldly powers as we have it now, but against our own self to decimate wordly desires and to be born into a new being. In this fight we don't wield wordly weapons, but we seek power of the Spirit. Beautiful poem dear Stephan.

Amen, brother, you've shared the truth today. We as humans will never win the war against evil here on earth, but we can claim victory in accepting the gift we are offered through Christ ... Eternal life. Opening the door to our heart and allowing Him into our life will make us winners regardless of what the world does. Blessings my friend. Bill
