Marble crosses of faith
                                    A solemn reminder
Of those who shared one goal
                               Freedoms fight for glory
                               Grief of nations, their toll

                                 Marble crosses of faith
                                Buried soldiers, lay deep
                                Surrendering to death
                                 To honor their belief
                          Fighting with their last breath

                               Marble crosses of faith
                         In depths deep with promise
                       Known and unknown they sleep
                               A duty, not in vain
A pledge they fought to keep

                             Marble crosses of faith
                             Reeling above the sea
                          A humble place of peace
               Where headstones mark their graves
The price of war to cease

A fine tribute to those who fought and died for something we take for granted. We should remember the price they paid for our freedom. God Bless, JB
