I suppose nature can be pretty sad at times Ghairo, I try to express it abstractly as only us humans can do, cheers David

Hello David, first of all, it must have taken you a while to create the image, and I certainly love the words. My wife and I came home from vacation several weeks ago, and she suddenly was terrified to see the shadow of a Bat through one of our curtains. After doing my usual routine to get a bat out of the house, I noticed he was not budging. I looked, and here he had died and was dried and stiff. Starved, I take it. Heya Daniel, thanks so much for your encouraging words; I can just imagine the silhouette of the bat through the curtains, A signal from Alfred the butler perhaps lol! You know trying to sketch a spider using characters alone is no mean task, hopefully I get a placement for my efforts, cheers David

Ha! That’s actually a very good idea Lin, but probably out of my artistic league using characters alone, I don’t think I’ve ever sprayed a spider, only invasive wasps and ants lol! Cheers David

clever poem and picture David - I much prefer to see a wily wasp in the web instead - just trying to get pest control to remove a wasps nest - the likkle buggers have invaded our bird box! hugs jan xx

Heya Jan, I did a DIY job on a wasps nest in a vent near my bathroom a few weeks ago, half tin of spray killed the lot of them, best of luck getting rid of yours, cheers David
