I like how the seemingly beautiful contrasts with the down-to-earth bus ride back home. Beautifully expressed, Kim.

St. Lucia is a gorgeous island in the Caribbean. Thank you, dear friend

Sounds fun Kim! Except in San Diego, my hot bare feet were tortured feet when I stepped on the sand. I swear I never hot footed it so quickly to the water...and that was with only partial bare feet, I was wearing sandals! OUCH! But oh my, nice warm almost hot bare feet in the ocean sand, 'sugar beach' no less, sounds lovely, almost heavenly.

'hot bare feet on sugar beach'.... Had this experience on Siesta Key beach in Florida. After being at heaven's peak, you are back to ground realities. I am sure your trip to St. Lucia must have been very enjoyable.

Love the contrast between the near-heavenly --- and the earthly back on the bus. Lovely written, Kim. ~ Gershon

Enchanting words, Kim. I 've sailed on a catamaran from St. Thomas to St. Lucia, you done her justice in this poetry, my friend. Hugs, Bill
