Harm

Heart of glass
Once transparent and clear
Shattered
Love drained , disappeared

Porcelain spirit
Crumbled , crushed
No longer soars
Trust turned to dust

Crystal soul
Cracked and chipped
Time needs to restore
Damage from harms cruel grip

You describe this so well. Once the trust is broken cracks begin to show and the heart becomes fragile. It needs time to mend to find it's way in the difficult times. It takes a long time. love phyl

Very well written dear debx, once trust is stained and heart is broken, when fragile it is, already, its hard to restore or mend, so we must always remember to be mindful and kind always! A very touching poem this is! So good to read you! Been a while! Hope you are doing well. Sending you light always

Dear Deb, I just had to say how much your piece hit home for me. It’s like you captured all those feelings we sometimes struggle to express. Seriously, your talent is notable! Everyone deserves a voice and you spoke for so many. Spring Blessings, my Dear Friend, Daniel

We all suffer some kind of harm as we go through life, but we learn how to deal with it and it makes us stronger. Tom

I'm going to assume you're ok and this is not about your heart, spirit and soul. It's tragically emotional and beautifully written, Deb.
