The person/s who create a beautiful diamond is called a lapis or lapislazuli.

diamond
in its rough state
clear, transparent, and hard
gifted jeweler brings out best
now through his hands it reflects sparkling light 
so are we like a rough diamond
through Jesus we become 
a cut gemstone
diamond

She was a kind soul, who raised her own two kids by herself and adopted my two cousins, when her younger sister passed away.
