Andrea, your poem "Incinerating Us" vividly captures the irreversible damage caused by harsh words in a relationship. The metaphor of a match igniting a blaze illustrates how quickly love can turn destructive. The concise and evocative language leaves a lasting impression, making this poem a compelling read for anyone reflecting on the complexities of relationships. Love this...

I hear the sizzle, Andrea. I heard a quote one time, something like, "Love is like a good cigar ... the brighter it burns, the sooner it ashes.
