Notes About The Poem

Dare at the Fair

"I can stand any ride at the fair,"
said my brother, so he took my dare.
He rode on the Comet,
and then he hurled vomit
stuck disgustingly in his date's hair.

Gross, Dre! Congrats on your win. Dare your (fictional) brother to regurgitate a million dollars, next time and hope you win that one, too!

Enjoyed the humour. Your brother must have been really adventurous. As a young girl I used to go for every scary ride, if ever I got a chance. But once on the spinning wheel, I started feeling dizzy and felt like throwing up. After that I haven't dared any such thing.

I just made this story up. But I did have a guy throw up at the top of a ferris wheel once. He threw up over the side of it. I hope he never hit any one with his vomit!!

Good rhyme. I like the humor. O, that poor guy's date!
