Sexist pig definition:

1. Discrimination based on gender, especially discrimination against women.

2. Attitudes, conditions, or behaviors that promote stereotyping of social roles based on gender and sex.

my definition:
3. a man whom can not control his hormones

I was hit on disgustedly by one of the biggest sexist pig on this site.
I'm on my way to REPORT this man to the soup. He makes me sick.
I'd rather have my poems insulted than have this chauvanist pig think all the women on the soup are easy or like being hit on.
A few women allow this ugliness, until they are harassed through soup mail. I can't stand a man who thinks all women on the soup don't deserve respect.

I for one, hate seeing anything degrading towards us women out of humor, sexy is one thing, sexist is another.
I'm not one of the women here that allows a mans charms and nastiness.
I'm happy to say, this man received ugly mail from my husband in return.
Hopefully he's squirming in his pants right now.
I did nothing to deserve this, SandyIvy

Sandy, report this to team poetry soup. We have one fly that constantly gets into the soup using both male and female names. The IP address should be banned. This is a great site with a host of decent people. Every now and then we get one that just has some serious problems.

I'm so sorry to hear about this my dearest friend and libramate Sandy! Perhaps, some members here had forgotten that the soup is also our second home aside from being the best place to share our passion in writing/talents; so, we should treat each others as brothers and sisters with due respect. Sorry to hear about this SandyI... i don't know many sexist on the soup, maybe one or three.. but like Francine and Debra, no body hits on me, ((they know better ;-)~)) well... back in the day,,, female poets would send me some flirty soup mail.....((lol)) before they knew I was a girl... so tell me, are we women on the soup sexist too... I'm not defending no one, but that is one of the reasons I could not keep my identity a secret. I had to come out in the open about my gender... I got sicken by all the flirtatious females on this soup. I do not mind compliments, or nice good meaning thoughts.. but not ugliness, as you said above.. no one deserves such pathetic needs. And I agree with the men on this blog. Not every man eats from the same plate. ((okay, Nathan and I did flirt before we met in person. GUILTY)) but, i respect all. .... anyways, I got many that have my back here, and I am sure they will have yours in such a case... xox~ PD

Let soup know right away. There are some here who think they are being macho when they are just being a nuisance. Most here will stop if you just say, "Not me." THere is one character on the soup who has multiple personnas and he/she should be ignored. Hugs to you,sorry for your experience... Whoever you are creep, bugger off and leave the sweet ones alone!

I hate to hear such a thing...I'm sure he is a cowardly speck that would never have the courage to do something like that face to face....and certainly not in the face of your husband!

Just block the guy dear.. I had such encounter with soupmail and even in comments.Once i even deleted a poem cos of a certain comment.. that went over and above limit..Just block.the guy..guess its the best thing to do dear

wow, it pays to be an old lady, no ones ever hit on me here. Do what ruben said, go to bottom of the page and click on the "contact us", you will need to copy and paste the offending remarks into your letter to them
