moving forwards

Karla sat staring off into the distance trying to figure out her next move. what will be her next move where will life take her next. she was ready for the next phase of her life to began. she just was not sure of which road to take to get there.

Karla needed to make a choice wither to stay here in her hometown or to move away from everything that she had known. it was a very difficult decision to make but in the end she decided to move. the move would not be easy but it would be the most beneficial for her career. she had been offered a great opportunity to work for an up and coming poetry magazine as one of their witters.

she knew that no one in her life would support her moving away. so telling her friends and family will be the hardest part of this whole thing. she knew that everyone would have something negative to say about her decision to take such an unstable job in another town. she was so sick of living her life according to what others around her felt was the right thing to do.

the following afternoon she sat her friends and family all down to break the news to them. after she was done speaking the room irrupted with negativity. all she heard was unasked for advice, unneeded commentary, and not a positive comment in the bunch. in other words it turned out just how she had though that it would very poorly.

this time she paid no mind to the negativity being thrown at her. she had already made up her mind and nothing and no one could make her change her decision. she left feeling more determined to move forwards with the move and prove to herself and to others that she could do it. she felt better than ever before this is the first time that she had taken a real stand and done just what she wanted to do and not what everyone else wanted her to do it felt great. a year later Karla returned to her hmetown a sucess.
