"How all people are tiny,"
The footbridge said.
Nobody was seen,
neither my father,
nor my mom,
not even the longest night of the year,
whose length is the tallest---Yalda night.
"All aged as a dot,"
plane's window said.
My eyes ache
to watch all these tiny black points,
I said,
and stupid ophthalmologists
still prescribe me glass

When I was very young, I learned how to tie my shoes in a tight double knot, but I couldn't untie them. I tried and tried but to no avail. I was stubborn and didn't want to ask for help, but eventually, I had to ask my Mom or Dad to help me. And they did. It makes you wonder, who will untie the hard knots that humanity's responsible for?

My momma said, "Baby don't you worry, it'll be alright. The past has a way or working itself out on its own. Don't live life always looking over you shoulder. Even though you may not be able to see what lies ahead, know them good times are a'comin. The only thing I want you to do is keep on keeping on, and believe tomorrow will turn out the way its supposed to; even if its not as you expected at first glance, one day you'll look back and say 'that's when everything changed for the better.'"
