Is it not something that the one thing in existence that is eternally admired by mankind, and whose beauty has never been denied even in the face of man's most fleeting whimsies, is also the one thing not conjured by mankind. It is nature's virgin places - the mountains, forests, streams, the depths of the sea, and the illimitable heights of the heavens.

The humans were coming together to build a tower so great it could reach the heavens. At this time in the world humans spoke, but one language and therefore could communicate easily and effectively. They were communicating so well god felt threatened by it
