Knowing more about poetry and its forms...

I started poetry and lyric writing just for fun but i wish to discover more about it... can anyone suggest anything to read regarding the same (can be a book, article,post, e-book etc.) i want to know more about how to write different poetry styles and how to find them... and other technical things.. thank you 
P.s i am also a creative writing student so i would love some tips and pointers ....
