MY BEST FRIEND
~Yash Agrawall

I miss you so badly,
You were always there for me.
The way you cared,
You were my best friend.

Gave me all the happiness,
You were so selfless.
But I lost you in a sec,
You died from a heart attack.

Gazing at the celestial stars in the night sky,
Wondering which star is my grandma.
I wasn’t ready to say good bye,
Just wish to talk to you one last time.

Grandpa is so lonely.
He waits for his time only.
He sits alone on the chair,
Staring at the other pair.
He won’t go out,
Sit and cry in a corner of the house.

We had it all
When we had you.
Now we stare at the wall,
Cause it has the picture of you.
