I've never really thought of myself as an accomplished poet, writing poetry is like writing a journal of my thoughts and feelings. When I started writing poems they were a reflection of my current mental and emotional state. Eventually as my mind and emotions changed so did my poetry. I have been at this writing thing for 20-25 year's, and it's second nature to me now.
