Thought I loved you when you stoppedcaring for me,
Why the sudden change, how can it be?
You tell me one thing, do another, notsure is what you say,
You like me now, like me less it alldepends upon the day.
Your confusion has me questioning whatI want from you,
As time goes by my heart grows cold, should I find someone new?
I'm not over you but you're over me,regardless of what you've said,
It's ridiculous for me to keep trying, the love that once was there is dead.
If I had any courage I'd make thedecision for you and make it easy,
But I'm just as confused as you are,and the thought makes me queasy.
Tomorrow may be so perfect and myquestions will disappear,
Next thing I know you'll find someoneelse and you'll no longer care.
I know you are thinking about what youwant and trying to figure it all out,
But what you're really doing isstalling,
Until the next guy is there which youdon't feel the same doubt.
I can leave you now and hurt less, walkout the door,
Or I can take the little that you cangive now, risk getting hurt, with the hope of us being together oncemore.
The longer this process takes theeasier it will get,
As long as I try not to love you, justlike I did when we first met.
