- Hey there! I'm thirteen years old and my name is Cassie Wise. I LOVE poetry! In grade 6 (last year) I was the grand prize winner of the Young Writers of America poetry contest for all of new england. My poem was called "a little place called home." I still can't believe that I'm a published poet now, and that I beat eighth graders! I'm on here to get feedback on my poems that I post, and please nothing mean. Some of my poems might sound depressing, but please don't think that there is anything wrong with me, for I am just trying out writing from new perspectives. I'm part of my school's literary magazine, and I would love to enter more poetry contests in the months and years to come.
