A year has gone past As I take my last My last what, I hear you say My last day, I sit and pray Trying to retrieve any happy thoughts Oh wait there, I used to love my mother’sfreshly cut bread toast Now all has gone, leaving an empty throne A place which used to be my home Where onceI did stand tall But inside, I was always feeling small Puny, pathetic, a miserable man That once upon a time tried to hold togetherthe clan Now it’s time to lie down, pills in my hand Am I working to the master plan? What will I miss? I hear you say The TV, Radio, Work, in-laws, no way!!
