If I submit a rhyming poem in a contest do I have a chance to place at all? I notice that in all the contests I've seen, the winners are not rhyming poems. My poems are not greeting card type rhymes, but emotional and personal. I have some work that I have been afraid to submit for fear of overall dismissal due to this form.
