At the point where the earth and the sky meet, I don’t see most of us together It’s not a curse nor is it a prayer but thetruth. We’ll lose touch with most and forget some, The little that are left are the ones we’llhold; FOREVER. We’ll leave each other with promises of neverletting go, But like dreams even the memories will fadeaway. Some of us will willing let go, But others will fight to hold on to no avail. But then again in life, It happens with everyone And we all know history tends to repeat itself. We’ll hope to be remembered if not for love, But for all the mischief we’ve been through; Together. This is the end of this chapter, But then again another book is about to bewritten. Cause this is not the end, But the beginning of a new life. I like where this poem is going. It could use a little proofreading, but I enjoyed the direction you've taken. I really liked the line "It’s not a curse nor is it a prayer but the truth." It walks a fine line between optimistic and pessimistic, but isn't quite apathetic; I love your phrasing in the entire first stanza. Thank you for sharing!
