3/16/2017 10:26:53 PM Jim Wiggins Posts: 1	I am pleased to be here. I wrote poetry as a teen. I lived a rough life as a teen, but home alone, I filled a log book full of poems. It was my secret. Poetrysoup reawakened the poet in me, dormant for a long time. I am currently writing a novel, and in a google search was looking for a poem as a prologue, about my novels subject matter. I found a perfect one here, and corresponded with the poet. I then joined, and the rest is history. One other thing, I submitted a Haiku poem. I just discovered the form. I have a Dracena plant (lady dragon) by my bed, so I tried to describe the moment as I observed it. This little poem also seemed to describe unrequited love. It's a very interesting art form.
