Lost Forever and Ever More

Once upon a life so dreary
My heart and soul now oh so weary
Feeling lost and torn forever
Like a ghost I live no more
Lost forever and ever more.

Memories fill my heart with sorrow
Although I beg and try to borrow
Any tiny bit of hope that
Tomorrow I will cry no more
Hope lost forever and ever more.

Love and Life seem oh so fleeting
Sometimes I feel I must be dreaming
To have this tangled web of feelings
That I have never felt before
Love lost forever and ever more.

Surely there must be a reason
For committing such a treason
Especially in so late a season
The seasons that my face now shows
Time lost forever and ever more.
