This fear I have Sits in my toes It's weighed me down for years Time for me to grow I'm standing here hoping That when I sing through these lips It'll be as magical to your ears as afairy's kiss So sweaty and shaky, Sure don't feel like a pretty lady I close my eyes and let the melody out The louder the piano plays, The louder I want to shout Everything in me wants to crawl under achair Putting myself out there seems a lot tobear I must do this I can do this I am doing this Aahhh it feels great! My fear of performing isfading..ading..ding And just as I get comfortable the pianostops playing
