What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the darker side of Christmas.
For many Christmas is a difficult time of year. Perhaps you can't afford presents for your kids or you have lost a loved one. Maybe you are away from home and loved ones. Perhaps there are family members who drink to much. Use your imagination. My poem Flip Flop might help.

i apologies in advance, there will be some amazing poems that will not be chosen. Contests are a matter of preference. If yours is not chosen it does not mean that it is not good. It is hard to judge premier contests and I thank everyone for their entering my contest. Blessings Rick.

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
