Contest Description

What to Submit?

One original Six-Word Couplet Series.

Definition: A Six-Word Couplet Series is a series with a total of at least 6 (each) Six-Word Couplets, consisting of 2 lines each, 3 words per line (with any number of syllables) and the last word of each line must rhyme (aa). Some or all of the Six-Word Couplets can have similar or different themes, but each couplet must have its own title listed on the line immediately above the couplet.

Here are links to my Six-Word Couplet Series so you can get an idea of what I'm looking for. If you don't want to click on the links, simply go to my poems and look for the date and title shown.

06/09/2018 Six-Word Couplet Series -June 2018
07/27/2018 Six-Word Couplet Series -July 2018
08/29/2018 Six-Word Couplet Series -August 2018

Please follow these rules carefully:

1. Submitted poem form must be a couplet.

2. Submitted poem's title must only be "Six-Word Couplet Series"

3. Each Six-Word Couplet Series must be formatted per the definition above.

4. Some or all of the Six-Word Couplets can have similar or different themes, but each of the Six-Word Couplets in the series must have its own title listed on the line immediately above the couplet. (Please see my example links listed above.) In my examples, each title is in bold font since it differentiates the title from the couplet, but bold font is not required. It does look better though :)

I've been asked to explain how to make text bold. Type before the
text you want to be bold, and after the text. Here's an example of
how to create your six-word couplet with a bold title:
