Contest Description
What to Submit?
Please submit one original poem--old or new*--on the theme of NEW
YEAR. Your poem can be about 2018, another specific new year, or
new year(s) in general. Your poem should be between 12 and 20
lines and must have a set rhyme scheme. I do not read entries till
the submission period is OVER, so you can make changes at the
last minute.
*One stipulation: If you enter(ed) Kim Rodrigues's current New
Year contest, do not enter the same poem in mine. Thank you.

Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
A Note to Poetry Contestants
You are welcome to enter this contest, whether or not you won a prize in one of my previous contests.
