Contest Description
What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the theme of ... "Create a Character".
This is a chance for a mental adventure and to be somebody different from yourself. The character can be from the past or the future, be young or old, male or female. It could be a human, bird, animal, plant or spirit. However it must be different from yourself and it must be convincing. I want to believe in the character you have created, sympathise with its feelings, thrill with its adventures or grieve its losses. I also want to get a surprise when I have finished judging and find how different the character was from the person I am beginning to know on the site!
Form must be Dramatic Monologue.
