Contest Description
What to Submit?
1 original poem on any theme, but it must start with the phrase "At any rate", be fast moving, and be full of surprises.
For those of you who like trivia, the expression "at any rate" was coined around 1730.
It means "at all events; at least; anyhow; anyway" (Source OED).
Any form is acceptable.
If you would like to read my example, it is called "The Salad Line" and is dated 1/14/2018.
