What to Submit?
1 original, poem on the theme of 'A Blitzing Christmas'
a) AUDIO reading required with your poem.
b) BLITZ form only: follow the soup guidelines regarding the form.
c) CAREFUL attention to spelling and the blitz form requirements.
Prizes
First Prize, $100 USD
Second Prize, $50 USD
Third Prize, $50 USD
Preparing Your Entry
Submit one copy of your poem online.
English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
A Note to Poetry Contestants
All welcome to enter this contest, but you have to be willing to send me your postal address so I can snail mail your prize, if you win. I have only hosted one contest before and the prizes reached all the winners, in three different countries, restoring my faith in the postal service :)
Judging is entirely at my discretion though I might recruit a friend or two to help me out if I find the top three hard to decide.
