Waiting Or Not

Listen to poem:
Santa Baby
Santa I have been waiting
Waiting for a long time
Waiting forever for Christmas presents
Presents my soul craves
Presents for children you make
Make for me my favourite please
Make for me a home to sleep
Sleep is all I need right now
Sleep from morning till sun down
Down I will lay my tired head
Down on a comfy bed
Bed for my aching back
Bed for the children
Children have a wish list for you
Children ask for silly things like children do
Do please come very soon
Do please bring of course the Christmas food
Food for you I will leave
Food of cookies and milk for you to feed
Feed Donner and Blitzen
Feed Rudolph too
Too many times I have written to you
Too many times I have waited for a gift from you
You come and go
You pass me by
By the fake pine trees I come to lie
By this time now you should have come
Come to me and do not run
Come and let us have some fun
Fun in the sun
Fun on this little Island
Island of the Caribbean
Island of black green and gold
Gold just like the hot sun
Gold gift for me and everyone
Everyone has seen you by now
Everyone even the naughty and the nice
Nice I will be no more
Nice is for the rich not for the poor
Poor I am
Poor I will be no more
More gifts you deliver
More time to get away in the sleigh
Sleigh I want up in the air
Sleigh will not go for Santa I am not
Not to me you will ever come
Not this year but next year please
Please…
Come…
