From time to time the 'Notifications' setting in your profile is being reset. I am not sure why and how it happens, but it does. So go there, and check every once in a while, I do :)

I don't get them at all and it's deliberate on my part, DAle. When they introduced the "Reply to a comment function" several years ago (which I hate), I was getting flooded with "thanks for your comment" notifications. So I just had notifications cancelled. It's more a treat for me now just to come here and hopefully be surprised by my comments inbox!! Oh, I DO get special announcements that Soup sends out. I guess you can tell Soup if you want the special notifications.

I decided to clean out my spam folder, and there they were. One by one I marked them "not spam" and I'm getting several now.

I have had 4 comments in 24 hours and one notification. There seems to be a general apathy on the site Dale as I have noticed fewer reads and comments on my poems for at least the last 2 weeks. Maybe I need to 'leave' more often as my recent 'Adieu' poem got POTD lol :-) hugs jan xx
