Update: I've enabled comments because, strangely enough, PS was allowing comments to be left just not visible. I realized this when I saw a comment in my replies section. I do not want any misunderstandings because I am not blocking anyone so I've just turned the option on so they are now visible to everyone and not just me.

Thank you to all who participated in the contest. Sadly I lost more than half of the entries due to poems not following contest guidelines.

Please remember that the order of those placed in the same rank are placed in that order by the site not the contest host/sponsor.

Those placing 1st-4th won a 1yr Premium Membership; please allow 24hrs for PS to update your account status.

You may want to now remove the "NPM" from your title so you have your unique title name.

oh Flo I am so so so happy to see Charlotte at the top of the list she has always been always so encouraging to me since I joined soup and urged me to focus on short forms like haiku and one of my fave poems (heavenly herald) was written for one of her contests and later printed in a haiku journal , she is such a gifted writer:-) many congrats to the other winners:-) hugs jan xx

I also enjoyed Charlotte's Haiku. By usual standards a haiku is not supposed to use personification; but I cannot seem to write a good haiku without personifying some aspect of it. She was able to do that. :) Sorry I'm just responding Jan. I had turned the commenting option off but then saw in my inbox you had left a comment; but it wasn't visible on the blog itself. That could most definitely cause someone's feelings to get hurt if they think they've been blocked. Though I know you would never think that I had blocked you.
