NON-HOLIDAY HAIKU. POET CANNOT HAVE A PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP

1 new haiku poem. Only one, 3 line haiku.

Preparing Your Entry

Submit one 3-line haiku in English.

Add "NPM" after title so it is not read in advance.

Poem should be new so have date at bottom but no name.

Name of contest and sponsor not required.

Only Haiku form is acceptable. See bottom for requirements. Not following a guideline will cost you a placement.

Haiku, unrhymed poetic form consisting of 17 syllables arranged in three lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively. Should be relating to nature.

Does not have to specifically name a season; but the season should be obvious in the Haiku. 'It should not be about the past; it is about the essence of a moment, stated simply'....

FJ, it is not just newbies that bumped off the list, I get bumped off all the time, I have no idea why PS cannot control the posting of poem after poem on one day, anyways, it is a nice idea to give newbies a chance. Hope you have a nice Christmas, full of Peace, Joy and Love _Constance

It is a bit unfair. I was reading poems just the other day and one person had over 20 poems alone. When I made it to the top, I start from the bottom, they were still posting. I do not care for the 'read only one poem' option because I may miss out on one that touched me more than another from a person who posted two or three. Other sites I've used had a 10 poem/24hr rule; maybe TPS will consider something similar.

Thanks Jan. We have some I know are being missed; because when I go to read new poems a couple people will have submitted many many poems in one day and I wonder how many individuals were bumped off the list before they were even able to be read.
