Moving (again) ... Hoping to Find Some Calm This Year

Hey Fellow Soupers.

I've been away for these past couple months (after only just getting back). To tell you the truth it's been the most hectic year of my life .... more has happened to me in these last 6 -7 months than the previous 10 years it seems (and that's not even including the pandemic and lockdown fiascos).

Not to get TOO much on the Soap Box here, but I've going through a lot of different stuff recently. In January my parents who have been together for 40 years split up, and my mom moved out of state. And now I've decided to move out of state myself (to Florida) and am feeling like I have to pick between which family members to stick with ... and which to leave behind. So I've been trying to spend as much time with the family and friends I have here before heading off in September. To add to my anxiousness in all this ... with the current spike of cases in Florida I don't even know if my job transfer will pan out. I work in the restaurant industry which isn't the greatest industry to be in during these current circumstances.

I'm also working on a few different creative projects between trying to publish a book, making music, and trying to  create and sell some board games I invented ... coupled with these mixed emotions of leaving state once again, unfortunately, P-Soup hasn't been high on my priority list and haven't had time to squeeze it in with all the other things.

But long story short ... I'm doing more good than bad and I pray it all works out in the end.
