I will be back!

Hello Soupers:

                     Just dropping in to let you all know that I will be back soon. College math has been keeping busy, so I have not written or posted anything in a good while. I really freaking hate math, but I have to do it to finish getting my A.A. degree. Despite being one of the older students in college, at the ripe old age of fifty-four, I plan to continue my education to become a teacher. My next step is trying to find the shortest path to obtain the education credentials actually necessary to be able to teach.

                     I do have my own screwy notes, a part of my process as many of you know, on a few ideas that may become poems in the future when I find the time to focus on them. However, I am very happy to announce that the literary group, at the college I attend, called "In The Write Mind" have selected quite a few pieces of my work to be included in their upcoming publications and with that my poems gain entry into a statewide contest. I am very proud to be acknowledged by our literary group and to have my work accepted by them for publication in the book, compilation, they produce.

                     I hope you all did not forget me because I am still very much a souper and I have sent many to poetrysoup.com. I shall return when I get all this math crap behind me. Hopefully I will have a couple of new pieces to post as well.
