Dear fellow Poetry Soup members,

In the last week, or so, since I've upgraded my membership from "Premium" to "Lifetime Premium," several of my poems have been posted and I've received several comments, which I'm pleased to say have all been positive.

And though, I'd like to personally thank each one of you who've sent me the comments, I honestly don't have the time, and so I'm hoping this "group thank you" will do.

Your comments truly mean so much to me. As poets yourselves, you, too, must feel that validation is really important to the creative process, so, again, thank you very much for your comments.

And please pardon me for not commenting on your poems.  I've read quite a few and intend on reading more and more, but between being bombarded with e-mailed poems daily, from various bloggers and from newsletters I subscribe to, it's all quite overwhelming, poetry-wise.

I wish you all happy writing (and reading)!

Your fellow poet,

Ruth

Ruth, answering comments is time consuming for sure, does take some dedication to keep up but not everyone responds to comments (and at times that has been me in the past) so you are not alone, don't worry just keep writing and enjoying the site . . .

Hi Ruth so nice to meet you. Not sure I have read any of your work, but I will for sure be doing so. So many wonderful poets and so little time. My favorite part of soup is reading all the other poems and being able to comment and receiving comments on my own work. That is what makes soup such a special place. Looking forward to reading your work.
