Angels: The Fresco (Fresh)

Dear Soupers:

Do you believe in Angels? Are Angels real? Have you ever encountered one? Or have you ever been saved from a terrible predicament by an Angel?

True artist are sometimes view as visionary, they can explore depths and create intriguing work of art that are way beyond human imagination, and Michelangelo was one of them. Michelangelo was considered the greatest living artist in his lifetime he was a sculptor, painter and poet. Some of his best known works are Pieta and David, Scenes from Genesis on the ceiling and The Last Judgment on the altar wall of the Sistine Chapel in Rome.

I do believe in angels..Some of which are without wings and pass by me everyday..Others have gone to a better place but sometimes I feel them near,protecting me and guiding me,still showing that they care.

In my poem, "Her Requiem", I wrote about the experience of watching my mother take her last breath. In her final moments, I felt an over powering sense in the room being crowded with presences from the other side.

My father was in palliative care for a whole month. He died in my arms. This is how he died: It is night. He sits straight up and stares at the window. He blinks. His eyes widen. They get huge. Then he smiles, I cant describe the beauty of his smile, it transformed him. Then he moves his head. My face and his are inches apart. He is moving his head, seeming to follow something walk across the hospital room floor, he turns as though someone is right beside him, his smile, somehow, gets larger. His eyes tear in happiness. He dies, right there, at that moment. I actually inhale his dying breath. Do I believe in angels? Yes! Yes! Yes! There are things we can not see, only feel. :)

I was very sceptical, till an incident about 6 months ago, way out in the countryside, where i lost consciousness, coming around i saw the face of the person reviving me, but initially she took on a face of an Angel, different to how she looks today but one of yesterday a time of sheer innocence.....i am not a person that delves in this religion aspect, of anything in fact it can be quite a pain in the neck,,,but that day i know what i saw, hard for me to explain,,but i saw what i saw, and it was a face of an Angel..the fact that the face did change convinced me something wonderful had happened........
