Untitled

I blindly reach for words to describe
The piercing agony that lies in my heart.

The thorns of my mind bind me in place;
They tear into my flesh, reopening old wounds.

My fears torture me as I stand there paralyzed.
Hot tears fall into my open sores, burning like fire.

My nightmares crash into my shattered soul
Like waves from a sea of crimson blood.

And yet I am still searching for words.
I want you to understand my suffering.

Can you see my woes in what I write,
Or is this just another “nice” poem to you?

a thought provoking piece and the fact it doesn't have a title compounds the pain hugs jan xx

This is quite the eye opener. Definitely not "just another nice poem." This takes a minute to really sink in.

This poem is pretty good; okay so failure to express, nightmares and sarcasm would equal one word you've used "in the body" -JT
