The Ones
standing alone on a mountain of dread,looking down at the normal ones,the happy ones,the smiling ones, the ones who wake up every day with something to look forward to , something to laugh about , something to sing about . the ones who never look up and see me standing here on this mountain, alone, cold, tormented.. tormented by my own thoughts, tormented because i do not feel,act or look like the ones down below . the ones who have holiday dinners, the ones who hug and love, the ones who fall asleep and dream peaceful dreams.. the ones who never look up and see me staring down at them wishing i too was one of those who never look up. but wishes don't come true, dreams fade away just like youth and happiness is as reachable as the farthest planet in the farthest galaxy trillions of light years away, so here on this mountain of dread, sorrow, agony, loneliness i will remain, looking down longing to be one of the ones
