Emotions In Motion

Every time that you walk away from me a part of me dies,
My heart has become empty, and numb then my soul cries,
Your like a melody over and over it is always exactly the same,
You flow in and capture my heart then you leave me in pain,
You leave me all alone to pick up the pieces all over again,
So off you go doing what you do, but somehow I never mend,
I stay so shattered and afraid to feel anything around me,
If you could just look into my eyes then you could be see,
My guards are all up and the world seems to be closing in,
I am so scared theres not enough left of me to even try again,
Just when I think that I will finally be able to make it though,
You flow back into my life, saying sweet baby I love you,
It's no wonder that I have twisted thoughts inside my head,
Because the cycle just begins over again, my hearts misled,
I try everything not to hear your voice, those words in my ear,
Saying you will always be here, but then you disappear,
I enter in this time with a little less than I had the last time,
My thoughts confuse me sometimes I don't think they are mine,
My actions show that I can hang on at least for one more day,
But in the back of my mind I always think that you will walk away,
Am I just dreaming thinking that you will finally decide to stay,
It is time to say that you can not keep treating me this way,
I am so desperate for your love to breathe life again into me,
That I do accept what time I have as limited as it might be,
You have chosen a different road time and time again,
As your life pulls you in different directions just like the wind,
I am always left behind to cope with what I have left inside me,
I pry away all the layers left inside that you have failed to even see,
A mixture of anger and pain seems to multiply each time that you go,
This is what I deal with each time that you walk away, I wanted you to know.
